Liz Smith joins DLA FreemanWhite as the Senior Consultant Healthcare Planner

Liz Smith recently joined DLA FreemanWhite as the Senior Consultant Healthcare Planner.  Liz brings a wealth of experience with her to the practice from  previous roles both within and outwith the health service. She originally trained as a nurse where she gained a wealth of experience in managing operating theatres, wards, day care and outpatients areas. In her role as a health care planner she has had active involvement in the development of Strategic, Clinical and Estate Strategies, Business Cases, Capital Planning and Post Project Evaluation of healthcare premises. Additionally Liz has worked closely with the Department of Health on a number of projects.  

Over the years Liz has provided health planning support to projects covering the range of specialties delivered by the acute sector (Inpatient, Emergency care, Maternity and Childrens, Renal, Oncolgy and Outpatients for example) both nationally and internationally as well as primary and community care and mental health areas.
